Steven Shaw (MBA, MAICD) is a Non-Executive Director, Advisory Board Member, former Chair of Capital Raising, and Founder of Hope for Founders, with 20+ years’ experience selling to high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and senior decision-makers across finance, private wealth, asset management, AFSL governance, and entrepreneurial ventures. He holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship with a High Distinction average and brings a rare blend of governance discipline, commercial strategy, and capital raising experience.

Steven has advised founders and growth-stage companies on capital strategy, investor readiness, government grants, scaling operations, and governance structures that withstand regulatory scrutiny. He currently sits on two boards and has served as both Chair of a Capital Raising Committee and Head of Compliance.

With senior roles at NAB Private, Macquarie, and Mercer, as well as five years running his own business, Steven combines real-world founder experience with investor-level clarity. His leadership approach integrates proven cultural frameworks—Schein, Denison, Kotter, and the Competing Values Framework—to link culture directly to performance, accountability, and execution.
